ARMA & IRPM Newcastle (Whitley Bay) Regional 14th September 2023
Discussions and solutions to the challenges of residential property management will be coming to a city near you in 2023 as the ARMA and IRPM Joint Regionals visit the North, East, South and West of England!
Our regionals will blend theory based learning and interactive scenario-based workshops, to allow delegates the opportunity to simulate ‘real life’ scenarios and discuss the best approaches of dealing with them, with leading industry experts on hand to offer advice and guidance.
Each regional will combine a full programme of expert speakers addressing important sector challenges with the added benefit of unique, regional networking opportunities.

Cassandra Zanelli: Solicitor and CEO at Property Management Legal Service
Cassandra Zanelli, Solicitor and CEO at Property Management Legal Services Limited, is widely recognised for her expertise in the industry. Amongst her industry related qualifications, she is a fellow of Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) and an associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). She is a member of The Property Institute’s Leasehold and Commonhold Expert Group, and an honorary consultant to the Federation of Private Residents’ Associations.
Cassandra is a regular speaker at conferences, events and seminars, having worked with leading organisations including TPI ARMA, IRPM, RICS, the Leasehold Advisory Service (LEASE), the FPRA and many more.
She is a leading authority in Tribunal matters and is regularly called upon to advise and represent her national client base.
Cassandra is passionate about sharing knowledge with the property management sector, and is the primary author of www.legallyspeaking.co.uk, a free online resource hub for property management professionals.

Andrew Bulmer FRICS, FIRPM - CEO, The Property Institute
A Fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Institute of Residential Property Management, Andrew started his residential PRS and leasehold management practice in 1995, taking on the role of UK Residential Director at RICS 2013-2011, then his CEO role at the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM), the UK's leading body for residential property management professionals. He oversaw IRPM's 2022 merger with the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA), becoming CEO of The Property Institute, the new professional body formed from the merger.
The Property Institute is the UK’s leading professional body for residential leasehold and multi-family property management, representing both individual professionals and businesses alike. Andrew is passionate about raising standards across the property management sectors and encouraging property professionals to be a progressive and ethical force for good.
James Purdey - Head of Operations at 4site Consulting
James is the Head of Operations at 4site Consulting, leading a growing team of Assessors and Surveyors covering Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Asbestos and Legionella. 4site Consulting is a Health and SafetyConsultancy providing risk assessments, surveys and training for property and block managers across the whole of the UK
James is Technician Grade (TIFireE) for the Institute of Fire Engineers and has many years of hands-on experience as a Health, Safety and Fire RiskAssessor. He is also in the process of completing a Level 6 Diploma in Building Safety Management.
Shelley Jacobs - Operations Director, MLM Property Management
Shelley Jacobs has spent most of her career in the block management industry. She is the Operations Director of managing agent Michael Laurie Magar Ltd. Shelley is also a Business Psychologist and a Cognitive Behavioural Coach. She delivers ARMA’s Resilience, Leadership and Time Management training courses and regularly presents talks, webinars and writes articles on different aspects of Mental Health, Leadership and Wellbeing. Shelley sits on the TPI Wellbeing Working group and is an advocate for supporting wellbeing and mental health awareness at work.
Dr Shaun Lundy: Director of Strategy and Innovation, Tetra
Shaun is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and Chartered Building Engineer, with over 25 years of experience in health, safety and fire risk management. In addition to his appointment as Director of Strategy and Innovation at Tetra, Shaun is also a visiting academic at the University of Greenwich. Shaun is actively working with the Property Institute as a member of the Health and Safety Expert Working Group. Shaun’s research interests include ethics, leadership, education and competence in health, safety and fire practice within the built environment.
Andrew Woodhall - HM Inspector of Health & Safety (Regulatory) In Occupation Operational Policy – Building Safety Regulator
Andrew is a civil servant with 24 years frontline experience across different roles. He has been an HM Inspector of Health and Safety since 2008.
Andrew has been working on the Building Safety Programme in HSE since 2020 and in the in-occupation operational policy team since 2021, working specifically on the Building Assessment Certificate and Safety Case Report.
Previously he was an operational Regulatory Inspector working in the construction division and Field operations.
