Introduction

The Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) is a not-for-profit professional body, themembership comprising individual property management professionals, not firms. It is the leadingprovider of learning, apprenticeships and qualifications in the residential leasehold and build-to-rentsectors, approaching 4,000 members. It is estimated well over half of all leasehold properties in theUK are managed by our qualified professionals, contributing to a marked improvement inmanagement standards since our inception in 2002.

IRPM members are subject to a Code of Conduct, enforced by a Compliance Committee.

IRPM’s mission is to raise standards in the management of residential property in the UK byproviding individuals with learning and independent professional accreditation. IRPM is not a tradebody and does not lobby on behalf of industry, but is an independent, authoritative and trustedvoice with Government and stakeholders.
