Scottish Government consults on residential letting agent code of practice - 24/08/2015
The Scottish government has today issued a consultation on a draft code of practice and training requirements for residential letting agents. These measures complement the wider legislative reforms being proposed to the tenancy reform regime and were passed as part of the latest Housing Act in 2014. Part of this regulatory framework will be a statutory code of practice for letting agents setting out the standard of practice they must comply with and the training requirements that all registered letting agents must meet. The consultation closes on Sunday 15 November 2015.
