The IRPM’s Scottish Open Learning Course (SOLC) forms the primary learning material for the examination and it underpins the learning for students at both Affiliate and Associate levels.
NOTE: We are currently reviewing the format and content of our Foundation Exam. Until the revised exam is available, all Affiliate member may progress directly to the Associate Exam. Those members who achieve a pass on the Associate Exam may upgrade to Associate member (without taking the Foundation Exam) subject to meeting our experience requirements.
The contents were reviewed and updated in June 2014 and the current SOLC is available along with further information and past papers in the Resource Hub located within the Members Area of this website here. The IRPM Associate Exam is accessible through two routes.
Candidates can self-study the IRPM syllabus via the IRPM's Scottish Open Learning Course (SOLC) and additional resources which are signposted within the SOLC. The booking form for the next Scottish Associate Exam being held on Tuesday 31st October 2017 in Glasgow is available to download here.
Candidates can complete the program “A Foundation in Factoring” locally in Scotland provided by SHARE containing six individual 1 day training sessions and a ½ day assessment. Candidates will be provided with workbooks at each module and preparation for the assessment will include learning and revision of the workbooks. A separate ½ day session is available on the morning of the assessment for those who require some last minute revision.
